Cumin Kissed Sweet Corn


Nothing says summer like the rise in the thermometer, the scent of burning charcoal and the crunch of juicy sweet corn. While summer is around the corner, sweet corn is back in season and ready for it’s seasonal debut. This is a super fast, super easy and super tasty way to welcome the season. And it is a wonderful compliment or star to any table. 4 Fresh Corn Ears, shucked

2 Shallots, minced 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder 2 Tsp Cumin 1 Tbsp Butter 1 Tsp Mayo Fresh Cilantro, a handful finely chopped Salt to taste Pepper to taste

To prepare the corn, remove the outer husk and carefully shuck the kernels. In a skillet, sauté the shallots in the melted butter until translucent.

Add the shucked corn kernels and season with garlic powder, cumin, salt and pepper. Stir to incorporate. Cook the mixture for 5 minutes and add the freshly chopped cilantro and mayo. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy.

* Go for organic corn! Because genetically modified corn is ewwwww.....
